Learn the art of panning for gold on a breathtaking back country  streambed only two miles from our gift store.  This is a guided adventure into the wilderness; simply arrive at our gift store at the scheduled time and your guide will drive a lead vehicle to the PJ claim, and then lead you on an easy quarter of a mile hike to the streambed where you will be taught the basics of gold panning. Imagine you have worked the stream all day with a shovel and sluice, and now you get to the reward, panning the concentrates to discover gold.  Take home the gold you find in a vial!
